All sessions are virtual and the video platform I use is secure and confidential. Offering virtual therapy means I can offer therapy anywhere in North Carolina, while you get to be in the familiarity and comfort of your own space.
Our first 1-2 sessions will be relatively structured, and will focus on getting to know you, and understanding what your needs and wants are in therapy. Beyond that, therapy can look a lot of ways! We will tailor our time together to best support your individual needs. All growth is incremental, and in therapy we will honor whatever pace and path your own growth process takes.

I am an out-of-network provider. While I am not directly affiliated with any insurance panels, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits. This means you may still be able to get reimbursed for our sessions. After each session, I can provide you with a detailed invoice, also known as a superbill, which you yourself can then submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

If you need to miss or move your appointment, I ask for a minimum of 24 hours advance notice about the change or cancellation. With less than 24 hours notice (or no notice), in most circumstances you will be charged the full session fee ($150). This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. If there is ever a case where there is a serious emergency, sudden illness, or unanticipated sudden financial hardship, please communicate with me about it as soon as you are able. Life happens - please talk to me about it!
